The Mature Soul. Michaels Teachings

Please go to to further research soul age by Michael’s Teachings. I am referencing a page that he made about Mature Souls. I believe that most of us are at this stage in our soul development or that we are striving to get there. The last stage is The Old Soul. I think most children are already at the Old Soul Stage. So this is what Michael’s Teachings say:

“After the years of youth and early adulthood comes the time of middle age. Much of what can be said about Mature souls is what would be said about people in middle age. They are at the peak of their lives: beyond the folly of youth, yet before the decay of old age. Like people in the fifth and sixth decades of life, much of their experience is behind them. That is, they have subconscious access to depths of experience not present in younger souls. Consequently, their perceptions are fairly advanced. Rather than look forward and outward like younger souls, they look backward and inward. They constantly evaluate whether their life goals are being achieved, and what they would do differently if they could start again. They have a strong tendency to be introspective. This incessant self-evaluation can lead to psychological difficulties. Mature souls are in the “mid-life crisis”, so to speak, of the Maturation scale. Mature souls make a lot of adjustments along the way in their lives.

Mature souls seek to comprehend everything. There is very little that escapes their view or scrutiny. The place for Mature souls to seek this is in such places as libraries and colleges. Mature souls are great believers in education. They go to school for a different reason than Young souls. Whereas Young souls get educated to further their careers, most Mature souls seek knowledge for its own sake. They truly want to understand. It may not always be in a formal or institutional setting, since this can seem too structured and limiting (too Young-soulish) to them. They often pursue knowledge on their own, reading widely or taking night-school classes on whatever subject is of interest to them. This they often do rather than seeking a formal degree. The courses that Mature souls take are less likely to involve occupation, and more likely to be for personal improvement, than what you will see Young souls taking. Mature souls care more about what they are learning than about the grades they make in learning it.

Mature souls are in a searching mode all their lives. There is an itch to “find themselves” and “express themselves”. Personal fulfillment is their constant quest. This they never quite achieve to their own satisfaction. The problem is that Mature souls are complex — the most complex of the entire cycle. There is so much going on in their psyches which other people cannot fathom, and they themselves do not understand. The Mature soul age is the most challenging of the Ages. Mature souls are agitated, sensitive, and touchy.

Because of their psychological sensitivity and complexity, Mature souls often exhibits a lot of confusion in their lives. For this reason they are often considered neurotic. What psychological garbage they have they keep churning their around in their heads. The Mature soul’s Monad’s (necessary experiential units) largely concern feelings. They are working through emotional blocks. They are the most likely of the ages to need and seek psychological counseling for their emotional difficulties. The majority of people who go to psychologists for counseling are Mature souls, and the majority of psychologists are themselves Mature souls — and they probably have a lot of psychological churning that they themselves are working through. Many psychological challenges come to the surface in the Mature soul Age which have to be dealt with on a conscious level. If it cannot be dealt with, the person may turn to alcoholism as an escape. This method of anesthesia is more prevalent in this Age than any other. Mature souls will not often let themselves do actual physical harm to other people, like younger souls might, so they turn their frustrations concerning others upon themselves.

Concepts and issues which younger souls would pass over as meaningless are very important to Mature souls. For instance, the Young soul is somewhat anti-psychological — he finds fulfillment in material things. He rarely questions his own motivations, or that of others. But the Mature soul looks for a larger meaning in life. He wants to understand the significance of everything, and the motivations for why people do things. More than a person of any other Age, the Mature soul cares — cares about the problems of the planet and wants to correct them, cares about other people and wants to help them, cares about his own well-being and wants to improve it. Mature souls are open to all experiences, and are prone to try pragmatic solutions to their difficulties, rather than using canned Establishment (Young soul) imperatives.

Since Mature souls are relatively evolved in their consciousness, their behavior is very ethical. They are working on the finer points of human relationships. They value the feelings and opinions of other people. It hurts them when others do not think well of them. While it is true they can be somewhat nonconformist and even a little bit rebellious in their natures, nevertheless Mature souls are not completely detached from a sense of social obligation.

Though relationships and knowledge and emotions are their primary concerns, Mature souls do work for a living, but it is not with the gusto of a Young soul. There is not the willingness to put everything into a career and rise to the top. When a Mature soul does become an employer, he tends to regard the well-being of the individual to be more important than the well-being of the company. He may have policies and programs within the company to foster the good of the employee, beyond the normal benefits.

There is a different type of awareness of the Mature soul compared to younger souls. The Mature soul is always interested in learning more. Knowledge is pursued by the Mature soul. Mature souls want to perceive themselves as informed individuals, and they revel in each newly acquired understanding. In the later Levels of the Mature Age, the person almost always seeks answers to the big questions of life in a way that few people in more primitive cycles do. This often means involvement in metaphysical endeavor, practice, or knowledge. By metaphysical is meant everything from psychology to religion to the psychic.

Like people with the Goal of Flow, Mature souls dislike disruption and disturbance of the natural rhythm of things. Like people in the Observation Mode, they are always on the lookout for information and knowledge. Like people with the Feature of Stubbornness, they regard themselves as bastions of solidarity that cannot be overthrown. Like Scholars, they value knowledge and information very highly. Like Pragmatists, they regard the world as a smoothly functioning machine. Like People in the Instinctive Center, they live by their impulses and whims.

Mature souls are psychologically attuned to other people enough that they empathetically experience other people as they experience themselves. This is not true of people in the younger Ages. As a result of this intuitive perception, Mature souls are touchy about who they deal with. They are easily upset by the “vibrations” of people that they are not in harmony with. If there are uncomfortable feelings with another, they will likely leave if they do not feel some obligation to stay. Mature souls need a sanctuary wherein to shield themselves in times of psychological stress. It might be a place that they withdraw to, or to the companionship and comfort of an intimate friend.

Mature souls are very relationship-oriented and they seek the camaraderie of like-minded companions. In contrast to Young souls who tend to regard their career as paramount, Mature souls often value their relationships as the most important thing in their lives. They build their lives around social contacts and friends who have similar interests. Family members, in the sense of blood relatives, which are very important to the three younger soul Ages, are not as important to Mature souls as good companions are. Mature souls seek mates not for status as Young souls often do, but for love. It is unusual for a person younger than Mature to experience true love for the mate. Mature souls want someone to whom they can relate meaningfully, rather than just someone to fulfill the stereotypical role of a mate ordained by Young-soul society. A good place for Mature souls to meet others for companionship or mating is in school or at the library. Second choice would be informal and loosely organized singles groups where they can get to know others as friends before they become lovers. The bar scene does not appeal to them. Mature souls want to mate for life.

Mature souls have a highly developed sense of humor and they laugh easily. The type of humor they prefer is “situation comedy” involving social relationships. They like to tease and joke with their friends. Their teasing is rarely hostile or denigrating like it can be with Young souls. The type of movies they prefer are the award-winners with depth, meaning, and originality, usually produced by Mature souls — not the shallow, action or adventure type produced by Young souls.

Mature souls are very much involved in the affairs of the world, but they have a great need for a quite refuge to which they can retreat in times of stress. They like to have a cabin in the woods or at the lake where they can take a vacation from the rat race. They do not seek material things or have a second home for status like a Young soul, but for an escape, a sanctuary. Mature souls seek less tangible things than material possessions.

In terms of religion, if the Mature soul is so inclined, he prefers the liberal churches rather than the mainstream churches. If he goes for organized religion at all, it is the undogmatic and quiet faiths such as Unitarianism and Unity. In their quest for truth, at the extreme, the Mature soul may experiment with more unorthodox and offbeat brands or New Age sects. Mature souls have a strong sense of morality and ethics, but it is of the situational ethics and moral relativism variety. This disgusts younger souls, particularly Juvenile souls.

In political philosophy, the Mature soul is liberal — “left-wing” — perhaps even to the point of being socialistic. The idealistic hippie era of the 1960’s was a Mature soul phenomenon. Often they lived in communes or shared homes. Mature souls are reluctant to fight in wars because they regard all of humankind as their brethren. For this reason they also tend to be pacifistic — and not in a militant way like a Young soul might be. Even though they love freedom, they usually prefer to submit to domination rather than fight for that freedom. A clear example of this is that in Russia today, the Mature souls who form the majority of the populace submit to the domineering Young souls who control the government.

Mature souls are the avant-garde of society. It is they who make the genuinely novel contributions to the advancement of culture. They are the inspired visionaries. Whatever field of endeavor you might name — whether scientific, religious, political, technological, artistic, philosophical, humanitarian, or economic — it is the Mature souls who are in the forefront, at the leading edge, on the frontiers. Mature souls often campaign for reforms in society. They form the core of the environmentalist movement, the antinuclear energy movement, the ban-the-bomb movement, and other such improve-the-world endeavors. They are beyond the Young soul in perception of the value of the spiritual aspects of life, but they are nevertheless entangled with the affairs of the world to such an extent that they think the planet is worth the trouble of making it a better place. Old souls, on the other hand, have pretty much given up on the world in a material sense, as we shall see next.

Butterfly Net

The river keeps flowing without even knowing exactly why or where we are going
Crash courses, crash landings, and misunderstandings…
No love on an earth that is void of understanding

But take my hand and come with me.
I’ve seen a place in my dreams, where the dead is the living, filled with love, and so forgiving.
Take my words and hold them tight. Trust in me and close your eyes..
Lets sleep well within the night. No need for tears in the afterlife..

The skies are like sunsets. (Spread your wings and fly with me..)
The oceans are like sapphire… (Swim with me.. lets dive beneath.)

Let’s get lost in joy and happiness!
Let’s forget about life which was our death!
Let’s be happy as we once were.
Some call it Heaven, I call it living (so I prefer).

But we can’t sleep forever… we have to wake up.
I fall back asleep, and I always wake up.
They teach us in school that breathing means life.
Yet I am breathing and longing to die.

The butterfly is caught
It cannot fly
The butterfly is caught
It cannot reach the sky

Candy Hearts

Candy hearts that will be crushed
Armor penetrated the moment we trust
Rainbows fade when night is near
Tears, they fall when life’s unclear

I am uncertain
Things are unclear
This is my life
And you are not here

I am uncertain
These are my tears
Surrounded by people
And nobody’s here

This is my heart
This is my candied heart

A child gave me a message in the astral realm.

I feel that I must share this information with the world:

I was in a lucid dream. It was so beautiful that I thought I was in the afterlife. I was flying and to my amazement I felt arms wrapping around me. I turned around to see that it was a child holding me. They smiled and then they were gone. So I levitated to the ground and was met by yet another child. This child was male, short dirty blonde hair, and around 10 years old. I was walking around with him and he invited me into a tree house. I am not sure why I would even choose to open up about my feelings to a child but I did. I was telling this child that I was so frustrated with being human and that nobody understands me or my dreams. I kept telling him that I am trying my best to tell people on earth that they aren’t human. And I kept telling him that I don’t even know why I chose to be human in the first place. That’s when the kid simply replied “In order to teach people that they are not human, you first need to understand what it means to be human in the first place”.   Now my logical thinking and grammatical language is not near as intelligent as what I just heard.  Kids or adults, these people in the afterlife know what they are talking about. And of course I am somewhat paraphrasing but that is what this kid said to me and I was frozen stiff!! Such beautiful words to come from only a child. :/

I sat there in the tree house and  I told him that his words were so beautiful. We kept talking for moments upon moments. Then we “levitated” onto the ground. The scenery began to change into a “summer/fall” scenery. The sky was sunset. There were fall leaves and summer flowers growing around us. Strangley, the flowers growing on the trees looked like snow but it wasn’t. It was like a perfect mix of all the seaons that we have on earth. There were so many different colors of leaves and trees around me. When we experience Fall on earth, the leaves are dying. Where I was, the leaves were alive and the flowers sparkled. Green leaves… then fall leaves.. then snow… and yet the temperature was mild and comfortable. Violet flowers growing from wherever they can. I asked this child if we were in the afterlife. He said, “No, we are in the astral realm.” He said that the astral realm is “the little brother” and that the afterlife was “the big brother”. This child told me that the astral realm and the afterlife are so close together which is why they almost look the same. The astral realm is the transition into the afterlife. He said that they don’t refer to the afterlife as “The Summerlands” or “Heaven”. He said that they refer to the afterlife as “The Kingdom”.. Now maybe that is how children perceive it. Quite frankly, I do not care about such cheesy names. I was just in awe to be with this child who so graciously spent time to teach me about this.

And so since I was not in the afterlife, I asked this child to take me there. He told me he cannot allow that to happen. I kept asking him to take me there and he kept telling me that he simply cannot do that. Now according to my research, we all visit the afterlife in our sleep. But I guess this was different since I was meant to specifically meet with a spiritual being in the astral realm and not the afterlife. I am unsure as to why there are  rules to this. Perhaps it is like a Near Death Experience. Once you choose to move on into the afterlife, your silver cord will break and your body truly will die. Whereas when we are sleeping, our bodies just essentially take a break from this life with no intention of dying. Perhaps when I asked this child to take me to the afterlife, he truly perceived me as wanting to die and leave earth. I guess in my soul that was true. But in this dream I really just wanted to visit the afterlife for 1 second while I was lucidly dreaming just so I can come back to earth and further prove my point that the afterlife is real. I literally wanted someone to take my hand and bring me to heaven for research only but I guess this child knew better than that. I didn’t want to just randomly dream about it and guess where I was like I’ve been doing. But perhaps my soul truly just wanted to let go and die. Somehow this child sensed that.  I kept saying over and over to him to just let me visit there. So this child took my hand and we started to levitate but then something blocked us. Everything around us started to change. I felt like I was being sucked into a vortex. The child vanished from me and that’s when I woke up.

There  was a reason why I was blocked… There is always a reason. Was this a visitation in the astral realm, or was I remembering a Near Death Experience? I am pretty sure I wasn’t dying the night I had this dream.. I have visited the afterlife before so why was the child not wanting to take me there now? Perhaps my soul was in a vunerable state? I was lucidly in control? My silver cord could have been broken since I was aware of what I was doing? I just don’t know. This just raises more questions than what I had before.

So is earth life like “The Matrix?” Are we in a “computer simulation”? The anwser is yes and no

None of this life is truly real.. It is real in the sense that we are human living a human life on earth. But it is not true reality. While we are here on earth, we might as well adapt and make the best of it. Whether it is programmed or not it doesn’t really matter. All that matters is how we perceive it. What your mind tells you means nothing. What your soul speaks means everything. Let go of your mind. Ask your soul. It is within your soul that you will find the true reality. The soul is eternity and that is the reality.

Grieve no more for the dead, for they are more alive than ever.

It is in actuality that we on earth are dead and those in the afterlife are alive. Rather than us grieving for the dead, it is the dead who grieve for us. Death is just a transition from the dark into the light. It is you and I who are asleep and the dead who are awake. Your loved ones who have crossed over will look back upon earth as if it was all a vivid dream, and we will all wake up and be home with them forever more. Just as fast as the morning rain will stop, the sun will come out, and a rainbow of enlightenment will appear from the otherside.

People say “There is no evidence that the afterlife exists”. I say “There is no evidence that the afterlife doesn’t exist!”

You see, people blame others when their never right
And when there always is a problem all they do is run and hide.
Then you point a finger at God because you don’t feel loved…
Just because “you have no evidence”… I guess you need a glove.

Take the shades off of your face and you will see the light
Life wasn’t meant to be a Summerland paradise
I’ll only sleep when I’m dead. I got everything to lose
You either help solve the problem or be the cause – Now you choose.

I just want to personally say that I am sorry that I have not “watered” my blog lately with spiritual help and wisdom. I will make a better effort into doing so. I appreciate all of the love and support. I can’t believe that people from all over the world is reading my blog. I’m not sure how they got here but I appreciate it!

Life is a medicine that is bitter sweet.

We are given the medicine to help us understand what life is… and yet we cannot stand the taste. The pill is too tough to swallow.

But we swallow the pill anyways. We taste the medicine. We may feel like we are choking but in actuality it is the process in which the medicine much follow. We digest this life in order to understand why it is helping us. The symptoms are horrific. Sadness and pain. You feel like you are hurting and going to die. But feeling and what is the true reality are two different things. You have got to let the stitches that were once your wounds heal. And once you do, you will realize that you have a complete understanding about what pain truly is. And when you have an understanding of what pain truly is, you will know what it means to feel pleasure. Once you have felt the true notion of sadness, you will appreciate happiness. Once you have met your enemies, you will learn what friendship is. Perhaps your enemies were your friends. For how would you even know how to understand anything without misunderstanding? I have found that the people who come off as mean or cruel are hurting the most. We all are hurting aren’t we? The symptoms, just like a cold, can be different according to who we are. Some symptoms may be worse than others.

Well anyways… I hope this helps.

Soul Groups

We choose our family members, friends, associates, etc… to experience this journey with us. Most specifically we come to earth in groups. This is what we would refer to as your soul group. These are your kindred spirits. A kindred spirit can be anybody. It can be your child, your spouse, a family member, even someone who lives far away from you that you have met via social forums on the internet. Since we come down in groups and these people in your soul group are your kindred spirits, it is safe to say that the term of belonging to one single person (i.e. a soul mate) is false. As much as having a soul mate may seem romantic, in my opinion I do not believe that there is one single person whom we were meant to belong to. And besides, what is not more loving than to know there are a group of people who you are spiritually bonded to both eternally and through many lifetimes?

One thing I will like to make clear is that when we are going through this journey called life with our soul group you will experience intense emotions and growing pains with these specific individuals. You will feel tightly bonded with them. You will feel like that person has been specifically placed on this earth to help you. You chose for them to nudge you back on your path if you for some reason have strayed from it. You chose for them not to tell you what you want to hear but rather tell you what you need to hear. Going through life with your soul group is not meant to always be happy. You will also go through troubling times with these people in order to grow and learn what it means to love and forgive. These people will often mirror directly what it is about you that you may need to change. You will feel the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows with them. Relationships are tested the most with these people and they will bring out the issues that are within you so that you can learn how to overcome them. When these lessons are learned you will appreciate your relationship and love for these people more than ever.

Soul Purpose

I want to stray a little from the astral path today. I want to talk about the reason for coming to Earth and the people who we share these experiences with. In other words, soul purpose and soul groups. I do not have 100% of the answers that you may be seeking. The true meaning of life will make itself known to you down your own path that you follow. I will however give you guidance and some insight about what this earth life is all about.

Soul Purpose

Before being born, you made a plan to experience earth life for your own soul’s evolutionary progress. You along with your guides, your “would be” family, friends, and people in your soul group planned a detailed chart of the up’s and downs that you would experience in this life together to conquer and grow from. There are also other people who choose earth life to act as what we would call Mission Life Entities. These people are highly advanced beings who come to earth to help other people advance as well. Since a lot of us choose to come to earth to advance, I will stick to explaining why we choose earth as a tool for growth to begin with.

This is going to be the hardest thing for me to tell you but it is essential for you to know this so that you can understand why you are going through what you are going through.

  • You cannot and will not spiritually grow in an atmosphere without challenges.
  • You cannot and will not know the full essence of what it means to feel happy without knowing how it feels to be sad.
  • You will not understand the true meaning of pleasure without first feeling pain.
  • You will not know the true meaning of friendship without it first being severed.
  • You will not fully understand and appreciate the feeling of being fulfilled without first knowing what it is like to feel empty.

We are perfect beings who come from a perfect place. A place without flaws. A place of beauty. A place of love and friendship. One may ask “Well if we are perfect then why do we need to come to earth and learn these lessons to grow in the first place?”.  First off, you didn’t need to do anything. By free will you chose to come here. There are a lot of souls in the afterlife who choose not to reincarnate because they are happy with the knowledge that they already know there. But then.. there are a lot of souls (like you) who became restless and chose to gain more knowledge. The quickest way to do this was by coming here. “But why would a perfect being want to learn more?”  This, my friend is where the truth will hurt. You as a perfect being chose to come to earth because you wanted to know how it felt to be an imperfect being. By putting yourself in an environment that is opposite of what you’ve already known, you gain a whole new perspective and knowledge that you never even knew existed. And when your body dies and your soul returns back to home you then realize that you have achieved spiritual growth. It is a growth that you never even knew was there. You didn’t need it. But you chose for that growth to happen by experiencing what it felt like to be imperfect. So then what happens  when the human body dies and we graduate from “earth school”? Your soul will rest in the afterlife until it becomes restless for more knowledge. Knowledge is infinite and cannot be achieved in just one life time. So we choose to come back to earth to learn more after we have rested in-between lives. Or we choose to become a spirit guide (which I will explain in another entry). We choose this for our soul development. We are never forced to. What hurts is that we plan this whole life out in a place filled with love thinking we can take on anything, and when we finally get to earth we are in for a rude awakening. To add salt to the wound, you come to find out that you yourself chose this. Impossible to even fathom… or is it?

Yes you chose this because you wanted to accelerate.. you wanted to advance. You didn’t have to do this but you did. You do not fully understand why because here, on this planet, you are imperfect. But your eternal, perfect soul within you and your higher-self that resides in the afterlife knows the truth. Subconsciously you know why you did this. When you return home the fog that you felt around you will fade and the truth will shine as clearer to you than it did before you chose to come here.

A Further Breakdown in Comparisons: Dreams Vs. Spirit Travel/Visitations

To make it easier, I have outlined distinct differences between dreams and an actual visit to the afterlife including some brief descriptions of what the Summerland looked like in my visits. This may help you look for clues so that you may easily be able to tell if you are having a regular dream as opposed to a visitation. Please note that I will go into much more details about the afterlife and what it looks like in future posts.

  • Are formulated by human emotion and thoughts
  • Are choppy, scattered, and can be confusing
  • Will almost always make no sense
  • Are easily forgettable
  • May consist of negative themes/people and nightmares
  • May consist of earthly material things like cars, streets, and industrial buildings
  • May consist of violent, earthly weather such as storms, tornadoes, tsunamis, and cold/hot weather.

 Spirit travel/visitations:

  • Are not formulated by human emotion and thoughts. These are not dreams. These are real visits happening while you are asleep. It is through our astral self in our bodies and our higher self that resides in heaven, that these soul travels and visitations happen. These visitations are actually happening in the afterlife realm.
  • These visitations will almost always make sense. You will wake up feeling like you were subconsciously helped, guided, or comforted in some way. Sometimes you may end up feeling depressed only because you did not want to wake up from that visit but that usually happens if you are not accustomed to remembering your afterlife visits. With time and practice you will get use to it.
  • These visits are hardly ever forgettable. They are extremely vivid and lucid.
  • You will never feel threatened, frightened, or fearful. The people you will meet are always mature and calm in nature including the animals. There are no violent animals what so ever and if you see a deceased pet it is almost a dead give away that you are visiting some place in the afterlife.
  • In a true afterlife visitation you will not see cars, streets, or industrial like buildings. The afterlife consists of pure land, nature, water, paths, sidewalks, village houses, white roman like buildings (from what I’ve seen), flowers, beautiful landscapes, most people dressed in white and robed clothing (there are exceptions), and animals.
  • There are no violent weathered themes. You will never see rain, dark skies filled with clouds, or feel hot sun or cold wind against your face. You may feel or see snow in mountains but the snow is warm to the touch and will not melt. The water is ridiculously crystal clear. It cannot be compared to any water I’ve seen on earth not even the cleanest water. If you were to touch or dive into the water, it should roll off of your skin and you should not feel wet. In an afterlife visit you should also feel like you are easily able to breathe under water (if you choose to dive in) instead of a drowning, suffocating feeling.
  • Take a good look at the sky. There should be no sun and the color is almost always a sunset color or multi colored depending on the level of the afterlife you are on. But there are always exceptions. (I’ve only once seen a blue sky)

I’ve been livin it and feelin it. Just passin time.. killin it
My mind is long gone…

And I’ve been readin books… and getting looks…
I’ve tried by best and still the hook is holding me strong.

And you are wandering and pondering how this life ends…
And you are wondering exactly how God is a God send…
Well send me a note
I said send me a note, but I don’t need your vote

Your opinion is oblivion
Regardless if I’m kinda young
I don’t lay in the sun…

My shades are on prescription
Cause I don’t trust anyone…
I write this song because I feel like I am THE only one-

Simply contemplating if this life was even worth the time that’s gone..
I’m contemplating if I keep my path or just say, “Fuck it, run”-

Mr. Sun.. Sun…
Mr. Golden Sun
Please shine down on me…

And when you’re done .. done.. Mr. Golden Sun
The rain will follow me…

Let it wash away my pain
Till I am no longer insane
Grab a mirror till its clearer that we all still feel the same.

The only difference is I’m different
You cast judgment? Yeah we’re different
I move on… you egg me on
You need a clearance when you’re wrong

Mr. Sun.
